What we Believe:
The Word of God:We believe in the innerancy of the Holy Bible from beginning to end. It is our supreme authority in everything we believe and do.
The Trinity:We believe in one God who eternally exists in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-equal in every divine perfection.
Jesus Christ:We believe that Jesus Christ is God's eternal Son, and has precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfection as God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. He is not only fully God, but also fully man, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died in our place, and rose again on the third day to live eternally with God and intercede for all believers.
Salvation:We believe that every person is a sinner by nature and by choice and thus is spiritually dead and in need of salvation. This spiritual death results in eternal separation from God in hell upon the death of a person. Anyone who repents of their sin and by faith puts their trust in Jesus Christ as Savior, is born again spiritually. This new spiritual life results in living with God for eternity in heaven. Salvation is thus by grace, through faith, in Jesus Christ alone. No aspect of human merit, works, or ritual can save a person from their sin.
Baptism:We teach and practice baptism of believers by immersion. Baptism is a public testimony demonstrating what has occurred spiritually in the life of every believer. Baptism does not provide salvation to the person being baptized. However, it is an important step of obedience to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
